Sister duo Elly and Becky Miles will make Australian TV history this week when they appear as a joint act on The Bachelorette.
While little is known about the bubbly pair, Confidential has uncovered everything you need to know ahead of Wednesday night’s premiere.
Sydney nurse Elly, 25, is no stranger to the spotlight after she previously appeared as a contestant on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor.
The self-described “bogan country girl” from Parkes quickly became a fan-favourite due to her down-to-earth demeanour on the show last year and one former contestant says she was just as likeable behind-the-scenes.
“She’s a genuinely nice girl, we would often train together in the mansion. What you see is what you get,” a source said.
Elly was often hailed by viewers for her charismatic person.
“I’m probably most known for being the bogan country girl that says ‘crikey’ and ‘strewth’ a lot,” she said in a Facebook video.
Outside of helping others at work, Elly is a huge animal lover with a passion for travel and adventure and she previously told Confidential that her dream man will have similar qualities.
“I’m looking for a man that is keen to keep up with my adventurous lifestyle and is going to push me out of my comfort zone,” she said.
“I’d love to find a best mate who has a positive attitude, kind nature and who is motivated to be the best person they can be.
“Someone who is always up for a laugh and will give anything a crack.”
Meanwhile, Becky, 30, describes herself as the “quieter” sister and she was recently forced to find her voice after reports claimed she left a man heartbroken by abruptly dumping him to go on the show.
The Newcastle defence contracting specialist denied the bombshell claims, explaining they weren’t in a relationship and only “casually dating” when she signed up for the show.
“When I told him about this opportunity I tried to be honest as possible and we left on a good note,” she told Woman’s Day.
Despite matching hair and nose rings, Becky said there are “definitely differences” between them.
“I’m a little bit quieter, I think I kind of sit back a little bit more and watch and kind of look at what’s going on around me,” Becky said in a Facebook video
“Elly’s a bit of a pusher. She’s pushed me into getting a tattoo, my nose pierced, going skydiving for my birthday... she makes me do things that I’m a little bit unsure of.”
Becky’s perfect match is someone with a great sense of humour.
“A good bloke, a good human. Someone who’s kind, trustworthy and someone who loves me as much as I love them. Pretty standard stuff, I want someone who I can banter with and laugh with,” she said.
Like many reality TV stars, Becky has already established herself as an influencer on social media by sharing sponsored posts with Elly.
The pair have also signed with talent agency The MGMT, which represents former Married at First Sight contestants.
Both sisters say they’re genuinely looking for love.
“I never thought I’d do anything like this but Elly’s always pushed me outside of my comfort zone, so with my sister by my side - I thought why not, let’s give it a crack at finding love,” Becky previously told Confidential.
