It seems Tom Waterhouse’s sexy side extends only to being flanked by lingerie-clad women in promotional videos.
When it comes to flaunting his own sexuality, the bookie son of horse trainer Gai Waterhouse clearly prefers to stick to his trademark tailored suits.
That was the case as the 38-year-old attended the 40th birthday party for mate Fred Schebesta at Paddington creative space, Brazen Lot, earlier this month.
The party theme was “kink” with guests sticking to the dress code in all manner of costumes, including wearing gas masks, harnesses, flamboyant make-up and lots of leather.
Waterhouse however looked out of place as he waited in the queue of motley guests wearing a stylish grey suit.
When Waterhouse made it to the front of the line, Confidential understands a diligent bouncer turned him away for not adhering to the fancy dress theme which was being strictly policed.
After much back and forth and attempts to bypass the rules, the bouncer stuck to his guns. Apparently Waterhouse made a brief appearance inside after calling Schebesta but only for a few minutes before departing.
Waterhouse did not respond to calls for comment.
