Two weeks out from one of the highest profile weddings of the year, it is understood Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough are already married. Officially, anyway.
The Saturday Telegraph can reveal the couple signed their marriage licence documents a few weeks back, a standard procedure for anyone getting married overseas at a destination wedding.
It is understood the low key loved up couple signed the documents in Sydney but the big celebration is yet to come overseas.
“Anyone who gets married overseas or has a destination wedding has to complete all the official paperwork before they head away,” a source said. “It was a mere technicality and the real wedding is to come, where they can celebrate with their family and closest friends.”
Popular TV host Stefanovic and fashion designer Yarbrough confirmed their wedding plans in February.
The couple will wed at the waterfront One & Only Palmilla in Cabos San Lucas Mexico on December 8.
Close family, friends and colleagues, including Richard Wilkins, are expected to attend the ceremony, where the couple is understood to have included a number of Aussie touches.
Yarbrough’s sister Jade and her Mara & Mine co-founder Tamie Ingham will be in the bridal party, as well as five of her girlfriends from high school.
Stefanovic’s brother, Weekend Today host Peter, and wife, Today presenter Sylvia, will attend.
