Expect a serving of sass with a side of naughty when superstar singer Kelly Rowland takes to the stage at Sydney’s premier race day The Everest.
The former Destiny’s Child singer has been signed to belt out her biggest hits following the $14 million event, which has been billed as the richest race on turf.
“If there is no naughty or sassiness, the show just becomes really dull,” Rowland told The Saturday Telegraph.
“I come from a school of course with Destiny’s Child where it is fun and there’s sass and you have a good time.

“When you perform, that is your freedom, that is your time where you just really get a chance to cut loose.”
Signing Rowland has been a major coup for the event, which is expected to attract record numbers to Royal Randwick on October 19.
It’s somewhat of a homecoming for Rowland, who says the Harbour City has become her second home while she’s been in town to film The Voice.
“We found our flow over there and it is a blessing to be so far away from home and actually everyone makes you feel at home,” she said.
“That is very warm, it makes you feel like you are right where you need to be.
“I love that feeling and that is what keeps me coming back.”
At The Everest the multiple Grammy Award winner will perform a mix of her solo hits, as well as some Destiny’s Child tracks like Say My Name.
“I could never do a performance and not do that song,” she said.
“It will be a little bit of old school with a little new school, some brand new school as well.”
Rowland is in the midst of planning her racing outfit with her stylist and has promised something “big” but she said she always does her own make-up before a performance.
