With international travel restrictions in place, you might think Channel 10 would have trouble securing a decent line-up for the upcoming season of The Masked Singer.
However, according to industry buzz Sunday Confidential is hearing, producers have managed to lock-in an impressive cast, with a Hollywood heart-throb, an Emmy Award winner, an internationally renowned singer and a few local comedians tipped to be in the mix.
Now a spoiler alert for fans of the show before we go on.
The hottest name said to be joining the reality singing program is High School Musical star Zac Efron, who has been bunkering down in Byron Bay during the global pandemic.
The next hottest name doing the rounds is Keith Urban, who flew into the country from the US last month with wife Nicole Kidman who is filming her new miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers here.
Also rumoured to be pulling on a mask is artist Anh Do, pop singer Dami Im, radio personality Tommy Little and actress Madeleine West.

Grey’s Anatomy star Kate Walsh is also rumoured to be featured on the popular show, however she remains holed up in Perth where she has been holidaying since March, unable to return to her home in New York due to the COVID travel restrictions. If Walsh, who has extended her visa until November, does appear on the show, she, like any contestants from cities other than Melbourne, will have to quarantine on return.
Some clues Channel 10 has released ahead of Monday night’s show is that there will be 12 new celebrities hiding behind 12 new costumes and one of them will be a triple Olympian.
Another will be an actor from an Emmy-winning series and two will be World Cup winners.
With Lindsay Lohan unable to travel Down Under, she’s been replaced
by South African comedian Urzila Carlson.
The Have You Been Paying Attention regular will join returning judges Jackie O, Dave Hughes and Dannii Minogue.
