The Bachelor’s Blake Garvey ends ‘suffocating’ relationship with Louise Pillidge
Following months of counselling The Bachelor’s Blake Garvey has ended his relationship with Louise Pillidge.

WE’RE betting that Sam Frost has a spring in her step today, following news that Blake Garvey has split from partner Louise Pillidge.
“We were walking on eggshells around each other, always trying to say the right thing. It was suffocating,” he told New Idea in reference to his former partner, with whom he still lives.
According to the magazine, it was Garvey’s call to end things following months of counselling.
Louise told New Idea it’s been an emotional rollercoaster.
“We sat down recently and Blake said ‘It’s just not working - I feel like we’re treading water’. I knew deep down that he was right but I would never have been strong enough to say it.
“It feels surreal and since then I have gone through so many emotions. I’ve been crying, numb and angry”.
The blonde moved to Perth from Brisbane shortly after the relationship began and the pair are still living together in separate bedrooms in their Subiaco apartment.
“Weirdly, we are supporting each other through this,” she said.
The couple’s relationship copped flak from fans of The Bachelor, after he proposed to Frost in South Africa in the 2015 finale episode, then changed his mind after the cameras stopped rolling.
He went into hiding in Thailand, then revealed that he was in fact dating Pillidge.
Frost, who is now happily dating Sasha Mielczarek after he won the inaugural series of The Bachelorette, had no comment to make about the demise of Garvey’s relationship.
