The former footballer, 30, shot the reality dating series in and around Sydney over the past few months with the first TV promo to run tonight.

“It is pretty basic, just don’t say much,” Cummins told Confidential before attending a dinner last night for Iron Jack as ambassador for the beer brand.

“The less you say, the less you get your knickers in a bloody knot. It seems strange but yes, it is all under the radar because who wants to spoil the fun. It is going to be a cracking show I reckon. There are a lot of funny points and I am looking forward to watching it.”

Cummins found the experience shooting The Bachelor “extremely weird” but is looking forward to sharing the experience with Australia when it launches on Channel 10.

“We live in a pretty strange world but if you can be yourself, people either like you or they hate you and I feel that I am a fairly chilled out rooster and I did myself to be myself,” he said. “I don’t know how it is going to come across but I hope people enjoy it.”
