NRL star Cooper Cronk and his Fox Sports Australia presenter wife Tara Rushton have described the rush of love they felt after their first child was born last week.
Rushton announced the birth of their baby boy, Lennox Ryder Cronk, on Instagram on Sunday night.
“You came into the world this week, and have blown our hearts wide open,” she wrote next to a pair of baby blue shoes with “Baby Cronk” embroidered on them. “We are in awe. #inthebubblewithlittlelenny #wellplayeddad.”
While Cronk added: “We are thrilled and delighted to welcome Lennox to our family.”
The new parents were spotted taking their new bub for a walk in Sydney yesterday as they enjoyed a family outing for breakfast.
Earlier this year, Rushton revealed that she was due to give birth to the bub during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“We feel totally blessed to be having a little bubba,” she told BW Magazine. “It’s our World Cup baby because it will be born during the World Cup.”
The couple tied the knot last December. Cooper defected from the Melbourne Storm to the Sydney Roosters this season.
