Sylvia Jeffreys responds to mag’s marriage woe claims with Peter Stefanovic

TV host Sylvia Jeffreys has launched an attack on gossip magazine New Idea after the publication printed that her relationship with Peter Stefanovic was in trouble.
Jeffreys and the younger Stefanovic brother tied the knot in 2017, and their relationship has regularly been fodder in the glossy mags ever since.
The latest story titled, “New Relationship Hell” pushed the well-liked Today newsreader to call-out the story online.

The story said Jeffreys and Stefanovic were having relationship issues following his now famous Ubergate scandal where he was caught speaking badly about his Channel 9 co-workers and bosses.
“Today’s offering from the “Fabricated Stories Based on Unflattering Paparazzi Photos” file. Why no byline @newideamagazine ?#itsanextensivefile,” Jeffreys posted on her Instagram account.
The Daily Telegraph reached out to Stefanovic and Jeffreys who declined to comment any further on the story.
The post was followed by a flood of supportive comments from fans and the pair’s media colleagues.
Among the supporters was sister-in-law Jasmine Yarbrough who is married to Karl Stefanovic.
“ Hahaha it’s just so bad!! Don’t worry love Our marriage is apparently off as well. Maybe we should move in together,” Yarbrough wrote.
Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough’s relationship has also been regularly criticised in the gossip rags.
The pair had an intimate commitment ceremony back in March.
The Today host has publicly condemned the stories printed in the magazines about the women in his life.
