SYDNEY City Deputy Mayor Jess Miller donned a stunning Alex Perry gown to marry her long time partner Nic Walker at an AFL-themed day.
The pair took their Sydney friends to the Mornington Peninsula last weekend for the long-awaited day
“We have been together for 14 years. I think the marriage equality vote sealed it for us,” Miller said.
“We have a lot of gay friends, it meant that everybody could enjoy the day and not be sad.”
Miller she loved her gown made by celebrity designer Alex Perry.
“It was definitely something that was fun to wear. I think the dress has been getting more reaction than the actual wedding,” she said.
