Beauty influencer Amy Castano has angered her social media followers with yet another online faux pas.

After making headlines with racy holiday snaps of a trip to the Middle East, Castano shared a video of herself dancing in a sports bra and bike shorts to It’s A Long Way To Tipperary with the hashtag #anzacday on TikTok.

The response from followers was brutal.

“Have a bitta respect,” wrote one user going by the name @rubes.

Another, named @danrambo suggested she “delete this video”.

“Wow, very insensitive and rude,” @kaylee commented. “no wonder you get no views as an ‘influencer’.”

A Long Way To Tipperary was a marching song in the First World War.

Castano, 33, is part owner of Acero Gym with ex husband, Jono Castano, and is managed by top agency, IMG.

She lives in the Sydney CBD, overlooking Hyde Park where Anzac Day commemorations were held.

Initially, when contacted by Confidential, Castano said she had not seen any negative feedback from her dance.

“I haven’t gotten any negative comments about it … I haven’t checked,” Castano, who dates footballer Aaron Evans, said. “I could see the parade from my window and I was taking part as was everyone else who was there.”

She shared the video on both TikTok and Instagram.

On Instagram, her caption read: “I look forward to this every year”.

In January 2022, Castano made headlines for mocking Dubai’s strict laws for women by sharing a series of racy holiday snaps with friend Amal Wakim.

The pair posted a series of images and funny videos of their antics and referenced the risk of being arrested multiple times.

“She’s using me to go viral on TikTok and asked me to flash,” Castano captioned one Instagram story at the time of the pair wearing workout gear as they endeavoured to carry out a TikTok routine. “I’d get arrested for you @amal.wakim. Committed to the cause.”

He now dates model Simone Holtznagel.

“Amy knows me more than I know myself,” he told Confidential.
