After a very public rift, Sophie Monk has ended her feud with her Bardot bandmates but fans hoping for a reunion of the pop group may be disappointed.

It’s all water under the bridge for former Bardot bandmates Sophie Monk and Tiffani Wood, who finally ended their feud this week after a very public rift.

The pair have made amends and re-followed each other on Instagram this week after Wood previously claimed she had been blocked by Monk, who declined to take part in a reunion to mark the 20th anniversary of the band’s first single Poison.

Despite their truce, Monk’s rep told Confidential she will still not be taking part in a Bardot reunion.

The Love Island host proved there’s no bad blood by sharing a series of group throwback photos and she encouraged fans to check out Bardot’s albums on Spotify.

It comes after Monk was noticeably absent when three of five band members made an appearance on Channel 7’s The Morning Show last month, including Wood, Belinda Chapple and Katie Underwood.

Wood recently claimed Monk wanted nothing to do with them.

“Sophie doesn’t like the association with Bardot,” Wood told The Herald Sun.

“Anything that’s tagged with Bardot on her page she deletes. A fan pointed that out to me, I’ve been blocked by Sophie on Instagram, so I used another profile and had a look and she’s deleted most references to Bardot, which is where she came from.

“I just don’t think that’s the proper way to do it. Chris Hemsworth still talks about starting on Home And Away. Kylie Minogue honours Neighbours and Charlene, she may not have the same career without that. To me it’s just logical to be grateful about how you got your start. I’d never dis where I came from. I wouldn’t be doing interviews 20 years later because no one would give a shit about me if it wasn’t for Bardot, I’d just be a mum with six kids in the suburbs, but Bardot is joyful to talk about for me.”

The band, which also included Sally Polihronas, was formed in 1999 on the reality TV show Popstars, with their debut single Poison and self-titled album instantly reaching number one in Australia and New Zealand.

They parted ways in 2002 and Monk quickly became a breakout star after launching a successful solo career.

The London-born singer’s debut single Inside Outside reached the top ten on the Aria charts and she later transitioned into acting, with stints on Hollywood blockbuster Date Movie and Click with Adam Sandler.

“I don’t think we’ll ever get the five girls together for anything,” Wood said of a reunion.

“Maybe Sophie thinks she’s doing us a favour or maybe she thinks she’s got too many followers to bother doing it or maybe she just doesn’t care?”
