Photographers have compared getting a snap of eastern suburbs socialite Emma Steel to that of trying to photograph a Hollywood celebrity, sans the celebrity.
Steel has been keeping a low profile since the outcome of the messy court case where a magistrate found there were inconsistencies in her account in the case against her neurosurgeon husband Tim Steel, who was found not guilty of assault.
Dr Steel had faced charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and damaging property, all of which were dismissed, and Steel has been absent from her social circles ever since.
However, she did surface on Friday when she was photographed making a quick trip to Paddington boutique Desordre where she had a worker run out a $1000 Coral Crystal Mini while she waited in her white luxury Range Rover.

The dress could be for a date with Steel’s rumoured new boyfriend, wealthy Lamborghini- driving plastic and cosmetic surgeon Dr Alireza Fallahi.
The new relationship is hot gossip among her eastern suburbs pals.
Steel’s desperate attempt to avoid the media and photographers is said to be due to her being embarrassed in her tight knit social circles after the spotlight of the court proceedings.
Sunday Confidential also understands Steel is preparing to move house after the Bellevue Hill property she shared with Dr Steel has been sold quietly off market for a rumoured $10 million to prepare for an apparent property settlement.
