Sky News presenter Kristie Lloyd has officially said “I do”, marrying long-time partner Jarryd Kirwan in a picturesque ceremony in the NSW Southern Highlands.
The couple tied the knot last month, at the historic St Francis Xavier Church in Berrima, followed by a romantic reception at The Stables at Bendooley Estate.
“The day was everything we hoped for and more and was a beautiful celebration shared with family and friends,” Lloyd said.
Kirwan is a tennis coach in the Mosman area with the couple meeting through one of Lloyd’s Sky colleagues, whose children he trained.
The wedding was filled with thoughtful personal touches that made the day all the more special.
“The robe I wore while getting ready in the morning was made with the lace from my mum’s wedding dress,” she revealed.
“And I surprised my dad with the song choice for our father-daughter dance. As a Liverpool supporter he loved dancing to ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.”
The couple also commissioned custom-made jewellery for their mothers and grandmothers to wear on the day, along with personalised earrings for the bridesmaids designed to complement their dresses — and Kirwan’s standout lilac suit jacket.
“All our pieces of jewellery, including my pearl earrings, were made by a close friend of ours,” she said.
Adding an extra layer of sweetness, Lloyd organised a surprise visit from their beloved dog Alfie while the newlyweds were having photos taken after the ceremony.
“It was a day full of love and laughter, with memories we will cherish forever,” she said.
