Shark Tank star Jane Lu revealed a stressful airport ordeal after being told she may be deported on arrival in Paris.
Lu was left rattled at Sydney Airport on Monday when staff flagged water damage on her passport, informing her she might not be allowed into France.
“I’ve already flown twice with this passport to the US, so I didn’t think it would be a problem,” she explained in a TikTok video.
Despite the warning, Lu was eventually given the green light to board — but only after signing a waiver acknowledging she could be turned away at the border.
“It said if Paris turns me away I’ll just have to come back,” she said. “So I signed it, but now I have a 28-hour journey … hopefully the French are chill.”
Fortunately for Lu, her fears didn’t materialise. Hours later, she updated followers with a beaming video from the streets of Paris, cruising past iconic landmarks and confirming she had cleared security without issue.
