SEVEN group CEO Ryan Stokes and shoe heiress wife Claire are expecting their first child.

Sunday Confidential can reveal that almost two years after their star-studded Garden Island wedding, the pair are due to welcome their firstborn around March.

The mum-to-be and the Seven heavyweight were seen out together last weekend at the network’s Perth telethon — which raised $38 million for charity — where onlookers sighted Claire sporting a small but unmistakeable baby bump.

A Seven insider confirmed the news with Confidential, saying the Stokes family were “elated”.

“This brings much excitement for both families and their close friends,” they said.

“Claire is very well. They have plenty to look forward to in 2019 — it’s going to be a great year.”

It’s great news for the couple, who Confidential understands have been trying to start a family since their December 2016 nuptials.

This will be media tycoon Kerry Stokes’ third grandchild.

His son Bryant and partner Dominique Lomas have a 16-month-old daughter, Victoria, while his oldest son Russell has a 23-year-old daughter named Tara.
