Schapelle Corby has split from her long-time Balinese boyfriend, announcing she is looking for love.
The 45-year-old is understood to have parted ways with her long distance partner, Ben Panangian, some time back.
“Looking for a New Four Leaf Clover,” Corby wrote on Instagram, sharing an image of herself with Panangian in happier times holidaying together.
“*ATTENTION*. Help a girl out – Get Tagging.”
Corby’s nearly 160,000 Instagram followers were quick to offer suggestions of single suitors.
“She’s single and ready to mingle,” one wrote, another adding: “Girl pick me!!!! I’m single.”
She of course met Panangian, whose real name is Bernard Simanjuntak, in 2006 during a church service at Bali’s infamous Kerobokan prison.
Stand-up paddle board instructor Panangian was serving a three-and-a-half-year sentence for marijuana possession while Corby famously served 10 years of an initial 20-year sentence after being busted with 4.2kg of cannabis in her bodyboard bag.
She was deported to Australia in 2017 and the pair continued the relationship long-distance.
Corby has previously spoken of the difficulty of dating from different countries but credited her now ex with helping her through some difficult times.
“It works because we have video chats,” she said in 2020. “We can see each other. It’s not just letters or normal telephone calls, it’s video chats, so we speak together like three or four times a day. It works for us, this long-distance relationship.”
Since returning to Australia, Corby has won over fans by appearing on a number of reality television shows including SAS Australia and Dancing With The Stars.
Despite her big profile, Corby leads a quiet life living in Brisbane with her pet pooch.
Her passion is epoxy resin clocks, which she makes herself and sells on Instagram.
Like many in the public eye, Corby also has a Cameo account, where followers pay for personalised video messages.
