TWICE-married Channel 7 journalist Ryan Phelan has openly paraded his latest love Samantha X despite being fiercely private over his romances in the past. His former call girl partner has also cleared up one fact.

TWICE-married Channel 7 journalist Ryan Phelan has openly paraded his latest love Samantha X despite being fiercely private over his romances in the past.
The 42-year-old, who won the Cleo Bachelor Of The Year title in 2005 and who is a father of two adult children, posted a photograph of himself with the former call girl, 43, who also has two children.
Phelan simply placed an emoji of a love heart online overnight after news broke that the pair were a hot new item.
Samantha X, also known as Amanda Goff, confirmed “Mr Big” was not Phelan despite the rumour mill running wild.
“It’s all out now,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Meet my love, Ryan — He is NOT Mr Big from my book!”
Phelan said on Monday he had fallen in love with Goff.
“We met when Amanda came in to promote her second book, Back On Top, and I asked her out on a lunch date,” he told PS this week.
“We have pretty much spent every day together since, I fell in love with Amanda, no one else, and that is who she is to me, Amanda, an outstanding mother and an outstanding woman.
“If anything she has achieved a lot in her career and given an industry a voice it didn’t have before.”
In 2006, Phelan and his then-girlfriend, tsunami widow Trisha Broadbridge, announced they had split up just a month before he left for a new role in the US with ESPN.
Broadbridge had tragically lost her footballer husband Troy Broadbridge in the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, just eight days after their wedding.
“To be honest, the last couple of weeks have not been easy for me,” she said at the time.
“I am struggling. It is getting pretty difficult for me at the moment. It is hard.”
Phelan had signed a two-year deal with ESPN to host a specialised sports bulletin for Australian and New Zealand audiences but it didn’t take off.
It was understood at the time that Broadbridge didn’t join Phelan because she was unable to secure a working visa.
After hopping from various Australian networks, Phelan joined Channel 7 and was appointed weekend sports presenter for Sydney’s news in 2013. He is also a regular stand-in on Sunrise.
Goff has also had a career in the media, having worked at New Idea, Prevention and InStyle magazines.
She explained in September 2014 how boredom at work led to her transition from a divorced mum to a highly paid escort.
Goff said she would stare out the window of her Sydney office at “the grey buildings” and “fantasise about drinking champagne in a hotel room with a man”.
One day, she decided to visit a bordello on her lunch break. Two days later, she was having sex for money.
Her experience of post-divorce dating disasters and romantic “let downs” also contributed to her decision to become a sex worker, she said at the time.
But just last month, Goff announced she was quitting the escort business.
Posting on social media, she revealed that her final booking was with a 76-year-old regular, who had Parkinson’s disease.
