He sings about loving angels but pop megastar Robbie Williams will show Aussies some love too as he prepares to tour the nation this week, kicking off the festivities in Sydney.
The singer jetted into the Harbour City from New Zealand on Monday afternoon, throwing up a hand to wave hello as he disembarked his private jet and got into a waiting black van.
Looking comfortable in a golfer’s cap, tinted sunglasses and a grey jumper and pants, Williams, 49, has a few days ahead to relax and enjoy Sydney’s sights before he kicks off the Aussie leg of his XXV tour.
Named in honour of his 25 years in the music industry as a solo artist, Williams is set to take a lap around the nation to celebrate, with a Thursday night show at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium the very first stop.
Then he’ll jet on to Melbourne before gigs in Adelaide and Western Australia.
