Rita Ora leaves Sydney after fling with Thor director Taika Waititi

After a brief but intense visit to the Harbour City, British starlet Rita Ora has quietly left Sydney, popping up at a LA pilates class.

After what can only be described as a brief but intense visit to the Harbour City, British starlet Rita Ora made an uncharacteristically quiet departure from Sydney this week.

The 30-year-old Yugoslavian-born songstress, who originally arrived in Australia back in February to shoot the upcoming season of Seven’s The Voice reboot, surfaced in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where she was sighted emerging from a pilates class.

She later popped up at the celebrity hangout Soho House where, according to one report out of the US, she attended a “meeting” with Jennifer Lopez.

No hint, however, of where Ora and her unlikely Sydney fling and Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi left their burgeoning relationship, with the Kiwi film heavyweight remaining in Sydney, where post-production on the Marvel blockbuster is under way.

Neither have commented publicly on their very public romance, which was first flagged on Ora’s Instagram before playing out across Sydney over several weeks, culminating in “that” controversial make-out session as they sat with Thor star Tessa Thompson at Waititi’s Bondi apartment a fortnight ago.

It was revealed last week that Marvel and parent company Disney were not overly thrilled with the three-way cuddle making gossip headlines around the world.

Waititi was allegedly told off by the film studio over the messy early-morning pictures – seen by the studio as “not a good look”, according to an insider on the Thor set.

Confidential now hears that Ora’s record label was also less than thrilled about its star’s behaviour while in Australia and that the singer, who is signed to the Warner Music Group in the UK, was spoken to about her antics.

“They didn’t like the behaviour, is what I heard,” said a source who worked closely with Ora — real name Rita Sahatciu — while in Sydney.

Warner Music on Friday said it was looking forward to Ora’s next visit to Australia.

“Rita is an incredible and hard-working artist, and we loved having her in Australia. We look forward to having her back here soon.”

Ora, meanwhile, left few clues about the status of her high-profile holiday romance on social media o Friday, posting only a shot of her pilates workout and a video showing the singer happily dancing around a kitchen — with no trace of Waititi in sight.
