Red hot: Chili Peppers’ Flea hits Bondi in his undies

Superstar bass player Flea strolled down Sydney’s most famous beach for a dip in his underwear, then showed at 60 he can still charm even the tiniest of fans.

Red hot at 60, superstar bass player Flea is still a hit with the ladies.

The tattooed, purple-haired Red Hot Chili Peppers muso, who is originally from Melbourne and whose real name is Michael Balzary, proved popular at Bondi Beach.

The Californication musician appeared to be putting on the charm with a pair of 20-something year-olds after an ocean dip in his undies.

A number of fans interrupted the high profile artist during his time at the iconic Sydney beach.

Flea is married to American fashion designer Melody Ehsani with the couple welcoming the arrival of their first child together in December. He has two children from another marriage.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers of course are mid-way through an Australasian tour, and will play Sydney Olympic Park tomorrow and Saturday before heading to Melbourne and Perth.

Post Malone, who flew into Sydney on Tuesday, is tour support for the shows.

Flea was born in Melbourne in October, 1962, and despite becom~ing a US citizen, regularly visits Australia when not touring with the band.
