MELBOURNE co-captain Jack Viney is preparing to take the back seat to his fiancee Charlotte Ennels at the Brownlow count tomorrow night.

Ennels, one of the rising stars of the new generation of footy WAGs, has turned to top stylist Elliot Garnaut and Melbourne-based couturier Sam Oglialoro to create a stunning gown that will produce a fashion moment on the red carpet.

“It has been a few months in the process and we have drawn inspiration from Kendall Jenner’s Met Gala look and Bella Hadid’s Cannes look,” Ennels said.

“Elliot has been incredible in pulling this look together and Sam has worked his genius and absolutely nailed the gown.

“It is very different to what I have worn before, and I am so lucky to have two amazing professionals come together and create this dress for me,” she said.

Viney said he was delighted to hand over the spotlight to his glamorous partner.

“I take a back seat when it comes to the red carpet and the Brownlow night,” he said.

“I understand it is all about the girls and I am willing to play my role for the day: I have to make sure no one steps on her train!”

The couple are busy planning their wedding, which is set for early in the new year in country Victoria.

“With the footy season it is a little tricky to find a time to get married,” Ennels said.

“We were thinking about October but there were already a few couples getting married then so we have decided on a summer wedding in January. It is going to be lovely.”
