Police have again been forced to step in to Sydney horse trainer Shari-Lea Hitchcock’s relationship by taking out a restraining order against her on-again, off-again boyfriend.

Police have again been forced to step in to Sydney horse trainer Shari-Lea Hitchcock’s relationship by taking out a restraining order against her on-again, off-again boyfriend.

Dallen Alexander Nichols was this week slapped with an apprehended violence order by NSW Police following an incident on the state’s South Coast.

Alexander faced Nowra Local Court last Friday and represented himself during a brief appearance before the court’s registrar.

The matter was adjourned until August 6.

Hitchcock, the infamous one-time mistress of former billionaire Richard Pratt, declined to comment on the incident when approached by Confidential.

But it is believed the pair may have been at her holiday home, just outside of Nowra, when an incident occurred. It is understood an external party contacted police and there is no suggestion that either Hitchcock or Nichols breached the current lockdown rules.

Under the conditions of the interim AVO, Nichols must not contact or go within 500 metres of Hitchcock’s home, work or holiday house.

He is also prevented from approaching her, as well as assaulting, threatening, stalking or harassing her.

The current AVO is not the first time police have become involved in the pair’s relationship.

Just over five years ago police successfully applied for another AVO against Nichols for the protection of Hitchcock.

That had also come after an incident during the a trip away down the south coast.

Hitchcock and Nichols – who is seven years younger than the blonde beauty – had at that point been dating inconsistently for three years.

Both living on Sydney’s northern beaches, it is not known if their relationship is ongoing.

Hitchcock meanwhile has an adult daughter, Paula, from her relationship with late billionaire Pratt, who died in April 2009 at the age of 74 after battling prostate cancer.
