AFTER a torrid week of cancelled concerts and hospital visits, pop star Pink managed to park her woes and get out and about with the kids yesterday.
The Beautiful Trauma singer postponed four of her Sydney shows after falling ill with a gastric virus late last week, ending up at St Vincent’s Hospital for a saline infusion to treat dehydration.
She was keen to do Monday’s show, but was taken back to hospital for an overnight stay.
“She was discharged on Tuesday night and we hoped she could play on Thursday but she is still quite weak,” promoter Michael Coppel said.
“This is not a show you can do unless you are 99.9 per cent match ready and she’s not there yet so we will give her this week to recover.”

But yesterday the sun shone on the 38-year-old at last as she took her children Willow Sage and Jameson Moon to Sydney’s Centennial Park.

In a denim jacket, flannel shirt and ripped jeans, clad in trademark mirror shades, Pink was at least comfy as she recuperated.
New dates for the postponed shows have been confirmed.
