Aussie actors Rachel Griffiths and Bryan Brown have joined two of Hollywood’s most sought-after young stars – Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell – on the set of their yet-to-be-named romantic comedy filming in Sydney.
The stars were spotted filming a wedding scene at Marks Park in Tamarama on Wednesday, alongside US actors Powell, 34, Sweeney, 25, and Dermot Mulroney, 59.
Not much is known about the R-rated rom-com, which is directed by Easy A and Friends With Benefits filmmaker Will Gluck, and executive produced by Sweeney.
The plot is being kept well under wraps by Sony Pictures, who has also only announced a handful of supporting cast members, including Alexandra Shipp, Hadley Robinson, and Darren Barnet.
Brown, 75, was snapped in a tuxedo and puffer jacket while on set while Griffiths, 54, was in a blue gown.
Sweeney and Powell have made a splash in Sydney in recent weeks, as fans of The White Lotus and Top Gun: Maverick stars pieced together random sightings for clues about the film. Powell was seen leaping out of a helicopter in full black-tie attire in March, while Sweeney was photographed in a flowing Pink gown by the Sydney Opera House.
