It is the same every year – just to try and be better at my time management.

I don’t bother with that bullshit. It is always about coming back looking like the Rock and for the past six years I promised myself I’d look like The Rock, the white Rock, and I reckon I’ve missed that mark a few times. I’ve come close, no never. I don't do the new year’s thing because I just gave that up years ago.

Don’t have one, if you want to make changes or resolutions, do it! A date shouldn’t have an impact.

I have a few, they all are around making the most of each day after not being able to the last few years.

LUKE TOKI – BIG BROTHER VIP WINNER

My resolution would be to have a whole year alcohol free. I’ve always wanted to do it, chase some goals and watch less TV.

ANT MIDDLETON – SAS AUSTRALIA

I am usually away with close friends on New Year’s Eve and we spend the evening together with all the children as one big family. I don’t have New Year’s resolutions since I am continually striving to become the best version of myself, every day. It’s a continual work in progress that isn’t punctuated or defined by the start of a new year. As with Christmas time, with New Year I try not to look back and think or reflect too much on the past. I’m always moving forward, and I am always trying to create something which improves on what went before. You are not the same person as you were years ago, you have to keep evolving.

SAM MAC – SUNRISE WEATHER PRESENTER

To go for it. Don’t wait. Make things happen now. If there’s anything I’ve learnt from the pandemic, it’s not to take things for granted. Life is short, so chase your dreams right now and spend your time and money on the people you love. Wow, I’m turning into the low-budget Oprah.

JOCK ZONFRILLO – MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA

It’s not really my thing. If I’ve ever had one, they never really stick, so I’ve given up. Loz and I got married on New Year’s Day so we start every year celebrating us and dreaming out what our year could look like, so that is a pretty awesome way to set the tone for the year!

OSHER GUNSBERG – BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE/THE MASKED SINGER

I don’t have one, because every day is New Year’s Day.

Every single day we have the opportunity to reinvent who we are, to make choices and take actions which make our lives better, and make the lives of those around us better.

It is about taking the pressure off, living life, being in the moment and just spending really good quality time with my kids, my husband and the people I love. I will always love work and my career but after Covid, it really taught me that my career will always be there, it is the family and loved ones that are the most important things in your life.

I choose every day to try to be better, kinder, happier and stronger. I think I’ll just keep trying to do that!
