Yet another Channel 10 personality has jumped ship from its flagship morning program as Natasha Exelby announced her shock departure from Studio 10.
The newsreader took to social media to mark her final day on the program on Friday.
“I will miss you (Studio 10) but cheering on the 2023 squad big time,” Ms Exelby said.
Ms Exelby’s quiet departure is another huge blow to the struggling morning show after losing longtime host Sarah Harris, who in 2023 will move to prime time to host The Project. Channel 10 has lost a slew of its top stars in recent months as Carrie Bickmore, Peter Helliar and Lisa Wilkinson all departed the program.
Ms Harris joins journalist Georgie Tunny who will also host The Project on Friday nights, with Waleed Aly to return to the news and current affairs panel show in 2023.
Hamish Macdonald will co-host alongside Tunny on Sunday nights.
Both Ms Harris and Ms Exelby’s departure from Studio 10 comes as the program had its run time slashed from three-and-a half to just two hours a day.
The show was pushed back to a 10am start time.
Media pundits have been whispering of the programs demise, with The Australian reporting just 30,000 viewers have been tuning into the show.
Host Tristan McManus will continue hosting, with former The Block star Jess Eva filling in for Ms Harris in a guest role.
