Miranda Kerr gets candid, calls ex-husband Orlando Bloom her ‘annoying brother’

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel’s recent trip to Australia was much more than a work trip.

Sunday Confidential can reveal the highly regarded couple made donations to several charities, including little-known not for profits in the Hunter Region.

The supermodel and Snapchat founder gave hundreds and thousands of dollars to local charities, one of the main beneficiaries being the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, which is rumoured to have received a sizeable donation to fit out a new specialised operating theatre for babies, a figure rumoured to be around $350,000.

They also donated to Jenny’s Place, which supports women and children to live safely, and Youth Express, which supports young people in the Hunter through various programs.

This isn’t the first time the pair have opened their wallets for charities Down Under.

They donated to various Australian charities to aid in the bushfire recovery. Kerr has also been aligned to Kids Helpline and Royal Hospital for Women.

Unfortunately, the couple are unable to attend this week’s Gold Dinner, charity’s night of nights.

Despite being four days away, the board has already received more than $500,000 in donations prior to the event having taken place.

More than 600 of Sydney’s leading philanthropists and VIPs will gather to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gold Dinner, which promises to set new fundraising records for paediatric critical care.

Last year, Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky, Liam Hemsworth, Rose Byrne, Lucy Damon, Gabriella Brooks plus author and director Matthew Reilly were among those in attendance.
