Matt Doran: Weekend Sunrise host now with Dr Chris Brown’s ex Kendall Bora

IT most definitely was not love at first sight when Weekend Sunrise host Matt Doran and Weekend Today executive producer Kendall Bora were set-up on a blind date.
“We were set-up by friends of ours,” Doran explained.
“I had given up on dating and relationships for the rest of existence and she was near enough too.”
Doran previously dated celebrity chef Justine Schofield while Bora was in a relationship with TV vet Dr Chris Brown.
They met at the pub after their mutual friends set them up.
“I wasn’t offering much,” he said of that first meeting, Bora adding: “It was a slow burn”.
Sparks flew thereafter and they have been together for more than a year. They are also living together with Doran’s mother at house Sydney home and joked about work on rival networks, him at market leader Channel 7 and Bora at the Nine Network.
“It is morning show wars,” Doran said of the couple, who work for rival networks in the same timeslot. “She is always furious that I am getting up an hour and a half later on Saturdays swanning in to read the autocue, while she’s doing the hard work an hour and a half earlier.”
The couple appeared very loved-up at The Everest Fashion Lunch at Royal Randwick Racecourse, marking one of the first times they had stepped out together for a public function.
Asked if marriage is on the cards, Doran laughed and looked at Bora.
“She has tolerated me so far so things are looking very good,” he said.
Bora’s response was, “that is up to him”.
