MAFS brides Ines Basic and Martha Kalifatidis embroiled in nasty online battle

A fiery battle has broken out between last season’s Married At First Sight brides Martha Kalifatidis and Ines Basic after an Instagram live session gone wrong.
Kalifatidis and partner Michael Brunelli, whom she met on the controversial dating show, started an innocent Instagram live video last night while they ate their dinner, answering questions from fans in real time.
But about 20 minutes into the video, a fan asked Kalifatidis if she still spoke to Basic and fellow controversial bride Jessika Power.
Kalifatidis, a Bondi local, replied "I would rather have root canal surgery from now until the end of time than speak to Jess and Ines again … that's not even being dramatic, that's just fact."
The comment caught the attention of Basic who posted a gloves off reply on her own Instagram.
She posted a photo of Kalifatidis and Brunelli with the caption "Oi bitch. Keep your mouth shut or I'll make sure your gimp boyfriend knows you f**ked someone in my house and cheated on him. Good luck with your facts you pig lookin (sic) bitch."
Soon after she posted: "Moral of the story is don't antagonise me … when I don't even mention your name. Anyways looks like you have some explaining to do so ima (sic) leave it to you."
Basic then posted close to five minutes speaking into the camera about Kalifatidis and Brunelli, calling them putrid, saying she had never felt so mad and saying her comments were "vulgar and degrading."
Kalifatidis has not reacted to Basic's comments and has continued posting as normal.
When contacted directly, Kalifatidis told Confidential she would not comment and did not want to give the story further oxygen.
There was a period after the show finished screening in April last year where Kalifatidis and Basic were seen spending time together, however their contact ceased.
Basic and Power were not the only MAFS cast members mentioned on the live video.
Kalifatidis also said that she loved Elizabeth Sobinoff, who has returned to the show for a second time, and said of Mike Gunner that "there is not enough money in the world for me to talk to him."
