Lupita Nyong’o fights off zombie in summer style while filming Little Monsters in Centennial Park

CENTENNIAL Park was the setting for a zombie apocalypse this week, with Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o at the centre of the drama.
In first images of the actor on set of Aussie film Little Monsters since shooting began last month, Nyong’o wore a yellow dress and appeared to be fending off a ferocious-looking zombie.
The 34-year-old, who won her Oscar gong for acclaimed film 12 Years A Slave, was spotted talking to director Abe Forsythe before filming the scene.
Little Monsters is the story of schoolteacher Miss Caroline (Nyong’o) taking her class on an excursion before a sudden zombie outbreak.

Local actor Alexander England plays a washed-up musician who accompanies his nephew on the kindergarten field trip while American actor Josh Gad is kids entertainer Teddy McGiggle.
“Abe is a brilliant filmmaker and I can’t wait for audiences to fall in love with this original film that is equal parts hilarious, heartwarming and terrifying,” producer Bruna Papandrea said of the project.
