Love Island couple Amelia Marni and Josh Moss have jetted off to LA for a post-Christmas getaway.
The only couple still together from season one of the Network Nine program spent Christmas in Sydney, before making their way to the US for their first overseas trip together since meeting on the reality program, which was filmed in Spain three years ago.
Both Marni and Moss, who recently made The Sunday Telegraph’s most intriguing couples list, took to social media to tell their fans and followers they had touched down, with Moss saying, “it still doesn’t feel real we’re here”.
Many of their followers warned them about catching Covid while in the US, however Marni assured them they were both double vaccinated and taking precautions.
“I guess it’s the risk we take leaving Australia,” she wrote.
“Where I live in Syd has just come out of intense lockdowns which has caused the virus to spread like crazy.
“So Josh and I knew from the moment we leave our house we are at risk of getting it.
“We are both double vaxxed and have been so incredibly lucky to not have caught it in Aus too.”
With a combined social media following of 742,000, the couple are shaping up to be one of Australia’s strongest social media power couples.
They recently took their romance to the next level, moving into a Bondi apartment together in July with Marni saying: “We’re just so happy in our new home. It’s just so nice to have your own space again … I loved living with friends but obviously we’ve been together for a while so we just felt like it was the right time.”
