Winners Grant Crapp and Tayla Damir’s love story hit a speed bump when it was revealed the Canberra electrician had a secret girlfriend outside the show. The devastating revelation made Perth model Damir want to end things but two weeks on, the couple are working through the betrayal.

“We are still together … we’re trying to work through this, it’s obviously put a massive strain on our relationship. We are trying to rebuild the trust,” Damir told the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

After coming clean, the 22-year-old claimed his then girlfriend had known about him going on the show.

Damir said when she found out the heartbreaking revelation her first thought was to feel bad for Crapp’s girlfriend.

Despite the heartbreak, Damir said the dating show was the “best experience ever”.

The two denied having sex on the show despite the camera catching them looking guilty with an opened condom packet in their room.
