THEY spent 10 years sitting side-by-side every weekday morning as Today co-hosts but Lisa Wilkinson will not be at Karl Stefanovic’s wedding.
“I have not been invited,” Wilkinson told Confidential of next month’s nuptial in Mexico of Stefanovic and his fashion designer fiancee Jasmine Yarbrough.

But Wilkinson, who dramatically jumped ship from Nine’s Today to The Project on Ten last October, would not bite when questioned further about Stefanovic.
Stefanovic not inviting his long-time colleague to his wedding adds fuel to rumours that the pair’s relationship was purely professional.
Wilkinson said there were some things about the breakfast TV show that she looked back on fondly.
“There are elements of Today which I do miss but I am so focused on my new life and the new challenges which I have,” she said.
Wilkinson said she had enjoyed the change and working with The Project team.
“I am thrilled with my decision,” she said. “I have had a great 12 months. Everything for me going forward is exciting.’’
Despite negative press about ratings for The Sunday Project, which is championed by Wilkinson, she said she and the network were happy with the results: “There are very few programs on Australian TV who can say that their numbers are up. I do not understand why those reports are out there. I cannot worry about that. I worry about putting the best possible show together every Sunday night.”
Today has taken a huge hit in its ratings battle with Channel 7’s Sunrise since Wilkinson’s departure, with the Nine show hitting lows not experienced since 2006 — which reportedly came as a shock to Stefanovic and the Today team.
Stefanovic had declared his friendship with Wilkinson in an interview with Confidential soon after her departure.
“We have nothing but love for Lisa,” he said.
“It was strange after 10 years for her not to be next to me.”
