Reality star Lisa Oldfield has sparked talk of an engagement to her boyfriend James Laws despite not yet being divorced from her ex-partner David Oldfield.
The former Real Housewives of Sydney cast member posted an image of a tanzanite ring on her wedding finger as she celebrated her birthday with Laws.
“After the worst week imaginable, Jimmy shocked and surprised me with this perfect tanzanite ring!” she wrote. “Perfect like my big boy.”
The post sparked messages of congratulations although when contacted she said she is not yet divorced from former One Nation politician David Oldfield.
“I’m still officially married to Oldfield,” she said.
Asked about the ring, she jokingly said: “I’d expect much bigger than that. Seriously, the best birthday present is getting to wake up next to James each morning. He could put a calamari ring on my finger and I’d be happy.”
Confidential broke news of Lisa’s romance with Laws in March when she described him as “a keeper”.
They met through friends a few months after she and Oldfield split at the end of 2018.
Lisa and Oldfield were married for nearly 18 years and have two sons together — Bert and Harry.
Earlier in 2018, the formerly married couple appeared together on reality show I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! in which Oldfield was eliminated from the competition after just a few days while his wife stayed on.
Lisa and her new beau share the passions of golf, swimming and tennis.
