Amid the many images of selfless locals and outsiders pitching in to help Lismore recover, a picture of grime-covered Hollywood Hemsworth men and tennis star Pat Rafter has emerged.
The image was posted by Byron influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews, whose own house was flooded, with the caption: “They only stopped to pose because the owner wanted a shot. They didn’t want to. All in, all day.”
The Hemsworth brothers are based around Byron Bay, with the family owned several luxury properties around the area, and are familiar sight to locals, often walking barefoot to local cafes. Former tennis champion Pat Rafter also has a sprawling Bryon estate complete with tennis court and pool on Broken Head.
Lismore is the largest close to Byron Bay.
