LACHY Gillespie and Emma Watkins don’t look like a couple getting divorced.

Sharing a laugh as they hung out together on tour, the former Wiggle power couple prove you can stay friends with an ex.

The popular entertainers were caught grabbing an ice-cream in Townsville, in north Queensland, on Friday — a sight sure to delight their legion of fans hoping for a reconciliation.

Friends say Gillespie, 32, and Watkins, 28, won’t reunite but with an international kids brand to sell and a mega five-year contract in place, they are carrying on like it’s business as usual.

“They still have a wonderful friendship. They have always been the best of friends and they are in a good place,” a close friend told The Sunday Telegraph.

“Their priority is the tour and giving their fans the best show possible.”

The couple’s romance had become one of Australia’s most treasured love affairs, after the duo fell for one another while working together in the group.

They married in a traditional Scottish ceremony at Hopewood House at Bowral in April 2016.

According to those close to the pair, not much has changed since they separated eight months ago. They continue to do yoga together and dine as a team after shows.

In August, the yellow and purple Wiggle announced the end of their relationship after just two years of marriage.

At the time they released a statement which read, “We have, and continue to share, the most beautiful life together, but we want you to know that privately for the last six months we have been navigating through a trial separation, and we have made the decision to separate as a couple.

“We have chosen a different path to travel in our personal lives, but please know that we are stronger than ever and we can’t wait to see you at a show soon. We will not be commenting beyond this, and we thank you for respecting our privacy.”
