TWO weeks after devastating fans by abruptly cancelling her eagerly-anticipated Sydney concert, Kylie Minogue is yet to reschedule her gig, despite performing at multiple other engagements.
Minogue promised to “reschedule as soon as I can” and “make up for” the missed Nova Red Room gig she canned on March 27, two days before she was due to appear at The Beresford in Sydney to promote her new album Golden in front of 400 of her biggest fans.
“Hey #NovasRedRoom fans. I’m so sorry to have to let you know that I can’t make the Red Room show this week,” she wrote on Twitter.
“I have a throat infection and have been advised by my Doctor to rest. I have tried my best to get better in time but alas, Mother Nature needs some time to get me better. I’m so sorry. I’ll reschedule as soon as I can and I promise we’ll make up for it. Xx”
Liberator Music/BMG said in a statement that the songstress was “devastated to disappoint her fans”.
