TWO weeks out from the world premiere of her new film in Sydney, Aussie pop queen Kylie Minogue is already getting into the safari spirit.
The Spinning Around singer was spotted out and about in London dressed in a leopard print coat and burgundy knee high boots as she prepares to head home for the debut screening of Aussie comedy Swinging Safari.
From Priscilla, Queen of the Desert director Stephan Elliott, the film features one of the most high-profile casts ever assembled for an Australian film. Guy Pearce, Radha Mitchell, Julian McMahon and Asher Keddie will join Minogue and Elliott at the premiere in Sydney on December 12.
Swinging Safari is described as a colourful satire of a typical Australian beachside neighbourhood in the height of a 1970s summer.
It’s been a busy year for Mingoue who recently revealed she is working on a new album, with the first single expected to be released in January.
Minogue said she channelled the heartbreak of splitting from fiance Joshua Sasse in February into the album, which helped her deal with the breakup. “There’s a little bit of heartbreak, I would say,” she said.
