An eagle-eyed Saturday Confidential reader spotted celebrity eyebrow queen Kristin Fisher and pub baron Stu Laundy enjoying a cosy lunch at Surry Hills this week, sparking rumours of a romance.
Fisher was married to Chris Barnes and has since been linked to former cricketer Michael Clarke, while Laundy, whose family empire is worth $500 million, previously dated Sophie Monk after the two struck up a romance on Ten’s The Bachelorette.
Fisher and Laundy were sighted enjoying a meal for two at Pellegrino 2000.
However calls to those close to the pair revealed it was apparently a “working meeting” instead of a budding romance.
We will soon see.
In January The Sunday Telegraph reported a rift among Sydney’s “it” girls, when Fisher accused of hooking up with Pip Edwards’ ex Michael Clarke.
Fisher and Clarke hooked up at mutual friend Dina Broadhurst and her partner Max Shepherd’s lavish New Year’s Eve bash — and Edwards wasn’t happy about it.
Both Fisher, an eyebrow artist to the stars, and Broadhurst, 45, shared racy snaps of one another in barely there black dresses while partying at the stunning Vaucluse rental, with many commenting on the post branding the couple “trouble”.
Saturday Confidential reached out to both Clarke and Fisher for comment, however neither responded.
Broadhurst and Shepherd, 30, are considered an “it” couple in the Sydney social scene.
Their clique includes model Laura Csortan and celebrity accountant Anthony Bell.
In October 2021, Fisher vowed “never” to do cocaine again after her conviction for being caught in possession of the drug was quashed.
Fisher, 36, had been in the middle of a Saturday night drug deal on Curlewis St, Bondi, on July 17, when her dealer illegally overtook another vehicle — leading police nearby to stop the Kia Rio and find two bags of cocaine at her feet.
Fisher, the owner of a prominent Double Bay eyebrow salon frequented by Sydney celebrities, did not show on the day she was meant to face Waverley Local Court.
In her absence, leading Magistrate Ross Hudson fined her $550 and record a criminal conviction in her absence.
After finding out about her missed court date the eyebrow queen vowed to fight her conviction.
She later fronted court alongside her solicitor Michael Bowe and successfully applied for the conviction to be overturned.
