It’s a summer Christmas for the Urbans with Australian country singer Keith Urban and his two daughters Sunday Rose, 11, and Faith Margaret, 8, spotted at Sydney Airport.

Big Little Lies: Which star took home the most cash?

Country music star Keith Urban was spotted jetting into Sydney Airport on Wednesday with his two daughters Faith Margaret, eight, and Sunday Rose, 11.

The trio are home for the holidays, with Urban’s wife Nicole Kidman expected to join them in coming days as she wraps up her work commitments for the year in the US.

Nashville-based Urban and his kids were escorted by airline staff as they made their way through Airport terminals.

Urban is in town to perform at the grand opening of the new Sydney Coliseum Theatre on Saturday alongside John Butler and Amy Shark.

The Urbans fly home to Australia for Christmas every year as part of their family tradition. Hollywood actor Kidman previously said the kids enjoy spending the holidays beachside.

“We go back for the heat. We want to be on the beach for Christmas, no snow,’ Kidman told Us Magazine.

“We have a big summer Christmas, which I know sounds bizarre to Americans.”

Kidman’s mother Janelle lives in Sydney while Urban’s mother Marienne is based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Urban said he spent most Christmases by the beach while growing up Down Under.

“We had great Christmases growing up. I really, really enjoyed them,” he told Universal Music.

“Mostly, we’d go to the beach, you know, ‘cause there it’s summertime. Load up the station wagon and head off to the beach.

“We still love going to the beach at Christmas time, as long as we’re in Australia, because it’s like the Fourth of July. It’s huge. Everybody’s out. It feels very celebratory. It’s in the ‘90s.

“It’s crazy, but having grown up with that, it feels very natural to me. Albeit it, we still had all of the same Christmas songs, so we’re in like 90-degree heat (fahrenheit) with shorts and tank tops singing Walking in a Winter Wonderland, and I remember getting Christmas cards of like Santa on a surfboard, so that probably explains a lot.”

Earlier this month, Urban got into the festive spirit with the release of his brand new single I’ll Be Your Santa Tonight.

Kidman also shares two adopted children Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
