Australia’s sweetheart Jessica Mauboy showed off her giant engagement ring in a social media post and it was worth the 12 year wait.
Mauboy’s now fiance Themeli Magripilis popped the question a week ago while on holiday in his home country Greece, but Mauboy was yet to acknowledge it until now.

She posted a photo kissing her beau on the cheek with her huge rock in full view along with a caption announcing the milestone.
“The love of my life proposed to me in his family’s home town of Kalymnos, Greece on the beach at sunset,” she wrote. “We are so happy. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Thank you for all the love.”
Mr Magripilis and Mauboy met on a dance floor in Darwin 12 years ago and, with Mauboy having moved to Sydney, they began a long distance relationship.
They endured long distance for nine years before Mr Magripilis moved to Sydney and the two finally moved in together.
