Just days after being rushed to hospital, actor Jessica Marais has been pictured smiling while catching up with fellow former Packed To The Rafters star Hugh Sheridan.
The pair have been friends for more than a decade after meeting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) before going on to star in the hit TV drama.
Marais, 35, was rushed to a Sydney hospital in a visibly distressed state at the weekend.
“Counting my blessings having spent the day with two of my best friends,” Sheridan wrote on Instagram.
“Two very strong, talented and brave Australian women. First was a step challenge with Rebs at the opera house :) and then meditation and a hug with my earth angel Jessie x I love you both beyond words.”
Rebs referred to in the post is Hollywood actor Rebel Wilson, who he also shared a picture with.
Actors Kate Jenkinson and Jessica McNamee, also a Packed To The Rafters alumni, are among those to send their love in comments on the post.
On Saturday, Marais was taken by ambulance from her eastern suburbs home for treatment at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick after authorities received a call she was in poor health.
The incident came two months after the mother of one abruptly pulled out of the Back To The Rafters reboot citing “personal reasons”.
Two years prior she checked herself into a Bronte rehab facility to attend to a “number of urgent health issues”.
The multiple Logie Award winning actor has previously spoken publicly of her long history with bipolar disorder.
She is mother to seven-year-old daughter, Scout, from her relationship with actor James Stewart, who she met on set of Packed To The Rafters.
