There’s no slowing down for Jesinta Franklin, who stepped out in style for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.
The pregnant model, who is six months along, displayed her growing bump in a custom yellow Camilla and Marc gown inside the Bumble Castle and she said getting ready for the event was tricky.
“It’s really exciting, it’s a little bit different dressing the bump we had to have our fitting quite close to today but it feels good, I feel really healthy,” she said.

“When you’re pregnant there’s so many changes happening in your body so comfort is first for me and then I kind of think about the rest later so I’ve made good and bad choices.”
Franklin, 28, is expecting her first child with AFL star husband Lance “Buddy” Franklin, 32, and said she thinks the bub will take after him.
“I’m six months, really starting to feel it now and lots of kicks,” she said.
“This little one has very long legs which like to move a lot so I think [baby’s] going to take after dad.”
The former Miss Universe Australia said she’s not concerned about the affect that pregnancy will have on her figure.
“Your body is kind of hijacked and it becomes the baby’s for 9 to 10 months so yeah there’s so many changes that are happening but for me the priority is to bring a healthy baby into this world,” she said.
“If that means a few extra stretch marks and bumps and lots of spanks and tape under your outfit then I’m all good.”
The couple are keeping the baby’s gender a secret until after birth.
