Inspirational burns survivor Turia Pitt has taken to social media to reveal the latest addition to her family. But it’s the hidden meaning behind her baby’s name that has fans buzzing.

Inspirational burns survivor Turia Pitt and her fiance Michael Hoskin have welcomed their second child into the world, a babyboy Rahiti.
The 32-year-old made the announcement on Instagram last night with a photograph of her clutching her new baby and the caption: ‘Welcome to the world Rahiti,’
The baby’s name is of Polynesian descent and means “rising sun”.
The news of the new baby was quick to spread with Turia’s celebrity friends flooding her page with congratulations and wellwishes.
Model Megan Gale was the first to respond to Turia’s post, writing: “Just precious. Congrats lovely and much love to you andthe family.”
Lisa Wilkinson added: “Just beautiful, well done mum. And another fabulous name. Big love to all four of you gorgeous humans.”
The news of the birth comes after Turia told Stellar Magazine last month that becoming a mother following the birth of herfirst son Hakavai, now aged two, had changed her and made her more selfless.
“Now I’ve got this little person that I’m trying to raise so he grows into a good human, so it’s made me a lot softer andmore maternal. I’m gentler, more compassionate and more nurturing with everyone in my life and I feel it suits me.”
She laughs: “Michael likes me more now, too, so it’s a win-win.”
“When I was pregnant with Hakavai, I wondered whether I would be a good mum because I’ve got such an awesome mum. She’s soselfless, thoughtful, caring and compassionate and I thought, ‘I’m not like that at all.’
“But since being a mum, those qualities have come out in me. Now I know I’m a great mum, so I’m not worried about bringingup another kid. I’ve got it,” she said.
