Mel B was all sparkle, not scary, on her wedding day thanks to a glam squad of Aussies working their magic.
The Spice Girl married hairstylist Rory McPhee in London over the weekend, with her go to Australian makeup and hair dream team flying in to work their magic.
Max May, a 13-year fashion industry veteran and self-described “glamour specialist”, was one of the makeup artists behind Mel’s bridal look.
Known for working with Lara Worthington, Jackie O Henderson, Roxy Jacenko and Rita Ora.
May shared a sweet tribute after the big day.
“What a beautiful morning getting you ready for your and Rory’s special day! We laughed, we cried and boy did we have the BEST time ever with you,” he wrote to Instagram.
Also on glam duty was fellow Sydneysider Michael Brennan.
“I can’t thank you enough,” Mel commented on the post.
Behind the scenes snaps showed the team in action and posing for selfies with the bride ahead of the ceremony.
May was no stranger to the job, having previously worked with Mel on The Masked Singer Australia in 2022.
Guests at the star-studded London affair included Emma Bunton and Cara Delevingne, while Aussie comedian Dave Hughes was also on hand with his wife Holly.
Hughes, who bonded with the couple during The Masked Singer Australia, posted a video of their wedding day adventures, which included taking the Tube to the ceremony.
“Got to know both of them on Masked Singer and was stoked to watch them tie the knot. All class day celebrating an all class couple. A great time had by all.”
According to The Sun, Mel is planning a second wedding abroad, with hopes that the rest of the Spice Girls might join the celebrations, as Bunton was the only member present for round one.
