Imogen Anthony is single and ready to mingle.
The ex-girlfriend of KIIS FM’s Kyle Sandilands told Confidential that she’s back on the dating scene, one year after their public split.
“Absolutely, I’m doing what a girl does that has been out of a relationship for a year. I’ve got my own niches. I’m definitely looking to date and talking [to people],” she said.
For eight years, the model’s romance with Sandilands, 49, faced media scrutiny so it’s no surprise that she prefers that her next relationship is with someone not so high profile.
“Maybe someone a little less in the spotlight but whatever comes, comes,” she said.
“Love is love. It’s the same thing I’ve always said my entire life, even in my last relationship, you love who you love and you can’t control that.”
Sandilands has since moved on with his communications director Tegan Kynsaton, 34.
As Anthony, 29, prepares to find new love, she underwent a makeover earlier this year to mark a new chapter following her high profile breakup.
The budding actor traded her dramatic makeup and wild outfits for a more “demure” look, which she said is far less maintenance.
“I like to call that my Miley Cyrus period,” she laughed.
“I go through phases, I’m like a chameleon. I now have just calmed down a little bit, I also just can’t be bothered anymore. It’s so much effort what I used to do. Now I leave it at two accessories rather than five.

“I’d like to strip it down a little bit and have a more demure approach in my older years.”
Anthony changed her look yet again last week, when she dyed her hair bright pink for Sydney charity NeuRa to raise mental health awareness.
“It was time for a change and it was for a good cause,” she said.
