Iggy Azalea has clairifed comments she recently made about co-parenting with her son’s father Playboi Carti (Jordan Terrell Carter).
The Fancy hitmaker (born Amethyst Kelly) took to Instagram to “clear the air” after previously telling fans she was a single mum following her split from the American rapper.
“Nothing I said was intended to make it seem like my sons [sic] father isn’t part of his life but I’ve noticed a lot of people took it that way, so I wanted to clear the air,” she wrote.
“Onyx is so so loved by his dad and has always had both parents in his life from day 1.”
It comes after Azalea, 30, vowed to raise baby Onyx alone following their recent breakup while also sharing photos of the five-month-old bub for the first time.
“What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship,” Azalea wrote on Instagram last week.
The post was a follow-up to one she shared prior which read: “You lost a real 1 ... People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone. One thing I’ll never understand is how liars live with themselves. That s*** don’t eat y’all up inside?”

Azalea confirmed in June that she had given birth to her first child after weeks of speculation.
She began dating Carti, 24, in 2018 and sparked engagement rumours the following year when their Atlanta home was robbed and $500,000 worth of jewellery was stolen including a $50,000 diamond “engagement” ring.
The couple first sparked split rumours in late 2019, during Azalea’s secret pregnancy but reportedly reconciled before the birth of Onyx.
In April, Carti was arrested on drug and gun charges in the state of Georgia.
