Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts has been spending her time knitting between shoots for her upcoming movie Ticket to Paradise.
The 54-year-old was spotted carrying a bag with a knitted piece of material and a yarn of wool when arriving on set yesterday on the Gold Coast.
The Pretty Woman star is known to knit in between takes and on long days on film sets.
Striking an elegant shape in a grey business jacket and business shorts, Roberts joked with crew and security.
The American has being enjoying her time in Australia and was spotted giving a giddy hug to New Zealand-British film producer Tim Bevan while on the Gold Coast a fortnight ago.
Roberts is Down Under filming Ticket to Paradise with co-star George Clooney, which is being co-produced by Bevan.
Bevan, 63, and Roberts had their arms wrapped around each other as they were photographed strolling along Mermaid Beach.
Bevan is a film producer and the co-chairman of production company Working Title Films. Billy Elliot and Bridget Jones’s Diary are among the iconic titles he has produced.
Roberts and Clooney have been spotted filming in a number of destinations across the Sunshine State including Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Whitsundays since November.
Australia was chosen as the location for the movie when Covid restrictions shut down much of the world’s film industry over the past 18 months.
