Some of Australia’s - and Hollywood’s - hottest stars turned heads at the prestigious GQ Men of the Year Awards - but it was the after-party that had Sydney’s social set talking today.

The night began elegantly as stars arrived in style at the Hyatt Regency’s grand ballroom.

The Project’s Tommy Little was the life of the party as he danced the night away to Sean Paul’s Get Busy.

The TV host was in high spirits while attempting to keep up with the high-tempo track and at one point dropped to his knees right in the middle of the dance floor.

“Women love him!”, a friend declared.

While big names Zendaya, Jessica Mauboy and Sophie Monk seemed to skip all the fun, others like Baz Luhrmann, Georgia Fowler, Melissa Hoyer, American model Alton Mason, Dylan Alcott and his sexologist girlfriend Chantelle Otten and host Joel Creasey had no problems letting their hair down.

Zendaya politely posed for seemingly endless selfies before the ceremony, where she was named Woman of The Year.

“Thank you so much, it’s an incredible honour... Woman of The Year that’s kind of crazy considering that I’m 23 years old and I’m just figuring out how to become a young woman.”

Meanwhile on the red carpet, Mauboy said she was excited to be at the event and appeared to still be on a high after her recent engagement to Themeli Magripilis.

“He definitely surprised me, this is something I didn’t expect but it was in the back of my mind thinking ‘when is it going to happen, am I going to be prepared?’ I had (previously) told him ‘at some point, one of us is going to have to propose’. I was willing to do it but he wanted to keep it traditional.”

Fresh from Wednesday night’s ARIA Awards, Creasey told Confidential earlier in the night that he was looking forward to having a big night.

Creasey got the party started early with Love Island host Monk during the awards and the pair performed an impromptu duet of Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing.

Meanwhile, Luhrmann showed off his impressive moves on the dance floor.

Adding to the event were UFC stars Tai Tuivasa and Jason Momoa lookalike Tyson Pedro, who bumped into Georgia Fowler while demonstrating their best UFC moves.

The party was over just after midnight, as the DJ played his last set.
